1. Information We Collect

When you use Talon, we collect the following types of information:

  • Account information: Your name and email address when you create an account via our authentication provider (Logto).
  • Phone number: If you use the SMS or WhatsApp channel, we collect and verify your phone number to provision a dedicated assistant phone number and deliver messages.
  • Message content: Messages you send to your AI assistant are forwarded to the AI model for processing. We do not store the content of your conversations.
  • Bot tokens: If you connect Telegram or Discord, your bot tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and stored securely. We cannot read them in plaintext.
  • Payment information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or banking details.
  • Usage data: Basic usage metrics such as instance creation dates and subscription status.

2. SMS, WhatsApp, and Mobile Information

When you opt in to receive SMS or WhatsApp messages from Talon, we collect your mobile phone number solely to deliver AI assistant messages and service notifications.

  • Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
  • Opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
  • Message frequency varies based on your usage. Standard message and data rates may apply.
  • You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provision and operate your AI assistant instances
  • To deliver AI-generated responses to your messages via Telegram, Discord, SMS, or WhatsApp
  • To verify your phone number during SMS setup
  • To process payments and manage your subscription
  • To send service-related notifications (e.g., setup confirmations)
  • To improve and maintain the Talon platform

4. Data Security

We take security seriously and implement the following measures:

  • All bot tokens and sensitive credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM
  • All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit
  • Database access is restricted and isolated per service
  • We do not store the content of your AI conversations

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account or an assistant instance:

  • Your instance data, encrypted tokens, and plugin connections are permanently deleted
  • Provisioned phone numbers are released back to the carrier
  • Your account data is removed from our database

You may request deletion of your data at any time by deleting your assistant instance and account through the dashboard settings, or by contacting us.

6. Third-Party Services

Talon integrates with the following third-party services to provide its functionality:

  • Anthropic: AI model provider for generating assistant responses
  • Telnyx: SMS and phone number provisioning
  • Meta: WhatsApp messaging via the Meta Cloud API
  • Stripe: Payment processing
  • Logto: Authentication
  • Google: Calendar and Gmail integrations (only when you explicitly connect your Google account)

Each third-party service is governed by its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Opt out of SMS or WhatsApp messages at any time by replying STOP
  • Delete your account and all associated data through dashboard settings

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
